The painting caught my eye on the website so I didn't hesitate to order it, and was looking forward to receiving it with anticipation. Once I removed the bubble wrap I was a little taken aback. Although as striking from a distance as the composition looked online, up close the marks look very raw and almost juvenile. Although I can tell it was done by someone who knows how to paint, it almost looks like it was done very hurriedly. Perhaps this is the style of the artist?
