My work is inspired by the landscapes and natural beauty of Atlantic Canada. I am drawn to quiet scenes, changing light, and the atmosphere that gives a place its unique feeling.

Rather than focusing on every detail, I simplify the landscape through shape, colour, value, and light. My goal is to create a sense of depth and atmosphere while keeping the painting calm and natural.

Through my work, I hope to capture the feeling of being present in the landscape and encourage the viewer to slow down and appreciate the beauty in familiar places.
